Senior Project Leader based in Berlin Mitte, Berlin, Germany

40K-60K Euros per annum DOE.

Reporting to Director of Technology Europe, The successful candidate will be required to work on a number of priority projects as defined by Corporate. Working closely with IT and all divisions the successful candidate will utilize standard project methodologies to ensure a Global approach to all project phases as well as ensuring that all projects are in line with SOX, Audit, Statutory, Legal, Tax requirements. Leading and managing functional and technical teams will also be a requirement of this role.

Role / Responsibilities:

Develop an in-depth understanding of all Projects including creation of/understanding of all relevant documentation provide simplified, cohesive project deliverables; ensuring Finance requirements are met. Continuously review resource allocation to ensure adequate resources are assigned to priority projects. Represent projects/processes at meetings, workshops and conference calls. This will involve travel. Manage the ongoing training and development of the team. Establish and monitor team performance, ensuring compliance with policy. Promote continuous improvement within the team. Motivate others to accept approved process changes and to take ownership

Skills / Experience:

Excellent Project Manager with proven track record of delivering projects on time & on budget. Excellent People Management skills, able to influence and motivate others. Expert knowledge of relevant Finance processes. Functional understanding of systems and how processes are applied.Excellent self-management skills, self-motivated and willing to progress within the organization. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server will be of advantage. Travel involved 40%. This position requires travel between European Countries. Resilient under pressure and able to quickly adapt to unforeseen work demands. Previous experience of Functional Design/Implementation of Oracle Financials with exposure to v.12 of benefit. Project Management certification of benefit. Fluency in German and English is needed for this position.

Vice President, Network Engineer - Pleasanton/ San Ramon, California

80-90K USD per annum DOE.

Position summary

Supervise network staff on a daily basis. Provide Tier 2 technical support and after-hours on-call support. Work on various network infrastructure projects to improve network reliability and performance and deliver new features and services. Work with business, developers and system administrators on planning, setting up new and expanding existing infrastructure. Troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues. Work with vendors to test and evaluate new hardware and software.

Role / Responsibilities:

Candidate should demonstrate his deep knowledge of the Cisco LAN switches, routers, PIX/ASA firewalls, CSS and ACE load balancers hardware and software. Deep knowledge of the RIP/EIGRP/OSPF/BGP configuration, operation and troubleshooting is essential. Candidate should be able to demonstrate his skills in solving network-related issues with RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PIM routing protocols, LAN and WAN connectivity and IPSec VPNs. Solid understanding of the VoIP and QoS implementation is important. Candidate should have good oral and written communication skills in English, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, operations staff, vendors and peers. Plus: MPLS F5 load balancers Juniper/ Netscreen firewalls Experience with Windows 2000 and UNIX/Linux Administration. Business Competencies: Expert, proven track record of networking and wide area networking experience in a Cisco environment CCNP or CCIE Certification is a requirement. Technical Architect (C#, .NET, SQL). The successful Technical Architect will ideally come from a consultancy background and have proven experience of .NET, C#, ASP.NET and SQL Server. Any knowledge of BizTalk, Sharepoint or XML is advantageous.
